Smartphones have eaten a huge chunk into the handhold console gaming market. Why carry a console around when your phone is nearly as good?
The answer, perhaps, is that the console has better controls and doesn’t drain your battery. Taking a leaf from some of the concept PCs and tablets where users simply pop their smartphone in as the core comes this design for the Nintendo Cross. There’s a slot for your smartphone and two control pad units to reposition around it.
Put together by designner Jimmy Kim the Nintendo Cross makes use of the improved controls, is designed for an iOS device and works hard on the mechanism that ensures vertical or horizontal games work just as well.
What do you think? Would you splash the cash for the case?
