Here’s a great little tool if you want an instant fantasy city map made for your RPG. The free website will let you create a small town, large town, small city or large city.
Hovering over the map lets you see the name given to a particular quarter – like docks, or artisans, the temple district or even big gates.
This isn’t abandonware either. There’s a development log and when this post when live the most recent entry was only two weeks old and was about coastal cities.
Although the site is free there is a support the generator option and my feeling is that many gamers will pay a little towards it as it is so good.
