Soar’s described as a cross between Miyazaki and Pixar. We certainly have a beautiful CGI animation style and a story that develops as a young girl discovers a strange fantasy world.
The short animation is an award winner, holding the 2015 Gold Winner of the 42nd Student Oscars, Best Student Animation Winner at the Palm Springs and being a finalist at the Student BAFTAs. There are plans to make a full length version and every reason to believe that writer and director Alyce Tzue will make a fantastic job of it.
