MAGE Company have another Kickstarter project live that’s gaining traction. Raid and Trade is a board game in which characters have to negotiate, explore, fight and make tough decisions to make it from the ruins and into the Golden City.

The Kickstarter launched today, that’s November 3rd, and already looks healthy. It’s raised over $3,000 in the opening hours with just a $15,000 target. At this pace it’ll fund in just a fraction of the time it needs but board games are never easy to Kickstart.
Mage have their pledge levels sorted though. $1 gets you access to the Add Ons from the Black Market. This means you can follow the campaign and also support someone else in your gaming group who’s backing the game at a higher level with extras.
If you step up to $50 then you’ll get a copy of the boxed game. Shipping? If you’re in the European Union then there’s no extra custom charges; elsewhere depends and there are stretch goals to consider as well. This is a typical problem with bulky item Kickstarters but MAGE Company has experience here and is being as sensible and as transparent as one could hope for.
The campaign includes a preview video for the game from JPlay that use prototype pieces. They still look pretty good.
Black market items for the game include things like hand painted minis, sleeves for your cards and dice. Whereas stretch goals include items like an outpost miniature, new quests and new incidents; the latter two being Kickstarter exclusives. Tempted? The Kickstarter page has more information.
