Mark Taormino’s second Kickstarter is going well. It’s rated “T” for Terrifying, 17+, with the promise/offer of violence, blood, gor, adult language and situations, extreme fun and for bad ass players only. There are 18 days still to collect funds and with $2,130 donated towards a mere $500 goal this Kickstarter will fund.
The pitch for Maximum Mayhem Dungeons’ second adventure is this; space creatures have landed in a fantasy world. The PCs ends up trying to help the nearby villagers who are at the sharp end of the invasion.
Maximum Mayhem Dungeons’ first adventure, The Hanging Coffins of the Vampire Queen, carried a similar adult rating.
Both adventures hark very strongly back to old school games. This is fully fledged OSR. The adventure module is written with OSRIC in mind. That’s a version of early Dungeons & Dragons that’s open source.

Old school gamers will recall that D&D’s infamous mindflayers did originate from space too. The mashup idea is a historic one.
Whereas this chainmail bikini, girls and monsters style dice romp might not be for everyone there are still plenty of backers and the limited pledge tiers are selling out quickly. It’ll set you back $22 for a printed module (with PDF) and it is only another $5 for outside the US shipping.
