Good enough to make you want to play the Star Trek MMO?

This little clip from the fortcoming Star Trek MMO is called “Exploration” and it certainly looks pretty. Looks like the MMO will give us a fair mix of spaceship combat as well as running around on worlds zapping each other with phasers combat.

Could be interesting.

The Star Trek MMO will benefit from the huge fan base of Trekkie MMO players. It’ll worry everyone else; it’ll worry MMO players who think it’ll be too Star Trek and it’ll worry Trekkies because it’s an MMO.

Mind you; I can remember when Activision was suing the makers of Star Trek for wrecking the franchise and making the games unsellable. Looks like a turn around to me! (Even if it’s Cryptic Studios producing this game…)
