I think this is a good idea. If you’ve got a game like Dragon’s Prophet to promote then run a big cosplay event. That’s what Infernum did. During Gamescon in Cologne this year, an event with some 300,000 visitors, they held a cosplay summit competition for the MMORPG.
The winner? Laura ‘Lightning’ Jansen; taking 37.8% of the vote and €2,500 worth of prizes. Laura also gets to design an additional virtual costume that Runewaker and Infernum will add to the Dragon’s Prophet MMORPG.
Jansen said;
“I fell in love with the armour the moment I saw it”,
“The most important thing for me is that I like the design of the character and that it suits me. This armour from Dragon’s Prophet is very feminine and I really love the strong, dark colours.”
