Gameplay preview of inFamous: Second Son for the PS4

inFamous is one of those computer game titles that appeals to tabletop gamers too. The original came out in 2009 and inFamous: Second Son will be the third in the series and will be a PlayStation 4 exclusive. It’s expected out in the first quarter of 2014.

In this edition Sucker Punch has cast Deslin Rowe as the main character. He as the ability to direct, manipulate and even transform into fire and smoke after he rescues people from a bus crash. Deslin’s world is some seven years after Cole MacGrath, the first hero, and the country is still a police state. Characters like Deslin who seem to have super powers are considered bio-terrorists.

Deslin recharges his powers by absorbing smoke. That might a tougher challenge than MacGrath had with his ability to absorb electricity.
