I loved Pitch Black. The fact that I watched it in a large, historic film house in the darkness all by myself helped. I didn’t think The Chronicles of Riddick was as good but consider it to be underrated.
Vin Diesel has been Facebook teasing pictures from the new film for a while now, and now we have got a short teaser trailer.
The rumours are that this film will be R-Rated in the States whereas Chronicles was a PG-13. That might help. The rumoured plot has Riddick stranded on a sun-tortured planet, fighting predators and with the only way off to activate an emergency beacon and summon a host of mercenaries who want him dead or alive.
