Shaun the Sheep 3D coming to the Nintendo 3DS

Don’t mock. I actually think this is a good idea. It’s a good way for the 3DS to showcase its 3D capabilities and its a good way to get some cash from the franchise for Aardman.

I actually think the Vita has the most to benefit from with this sort of distrubution deal (sans 3D, of course) and perhaps the rebranding of the PlayStation Network will help people think about it as a movie on demand service.

There are 15 episodes of Shaun the Sheep in 3D and they’ll ship on a weekly basis via SpotPass and Nintendo Video.
