Turtle Beach Corporation announced a new family of officially licensed Minecraft Dungeons II and Minecraft hardware peripherals on 29 September 2026, coinciding directly with Mojang’s global launch of the dungeon crawler sequel.

The lineup includes dedicated controllers for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC, alongside an over-ear wired headset and protective travel cases.
The accessory rollout marks the first commercial retail wave built specifically around the next-generation Nintendo console architecture while maintaining legacy Switch compatibility.
Production and distribution are coordinated globally both through major retailers and Turtle Beach’s direct storefronts. It’s a coordinated launch to capitalise on day-one community interest for Minecraft Dungeons.
Let’s look at the tech spec.
Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox hardware specifications
The flagship peripheral in the collection is the Rematch Wireless Gaming Controller tailored for Nintendo Switch 2. It features a lenticular faceplate that alternates between player character Valorie and a Creeper, integrated Tunnelling Magnetoresistance (TMR) anti-drift thumbsticks, motion sensing, two programmable rear buttons, and a dedicated C Button mapped for platform GameChat communication.
On Microsoft platforms, the Rematch Wireless RGB Gaming Controller supports Xbox consoles, PC, mobile devices, and cloud setups via 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth. It integrates Hall-Effect hair triggers with three-way physical stops, custom lighting channels, and audio balancing controls managed through the Control Hub companion app.

Audio engineering and protective storage
Turtle Beach expanded its wired audio range with the Airlite Fit Wired Gaming Headset, sporting custom Minecraft Dungeons II shell artwork. The headset uses 40mm drivers encased in breathable Jersey knit ear pads designed for sound isolation during extended co-op sessions, paired with a bi-directional microphone that cuts background room chatter.
Two variants of the PlayTrek Travel Case protect the console in transit. Both editions employ an EVA moulded frame, internal screen flaps fitted with game card slots, and an internal mesh compartment for charging cables. The Great Outdoors edition includes interchangeable hook-and-loop character patches.
Cris Keirn, CEO at Turtle Beach, said in a statement:
There is a tremendous amount of excitement around Dungeons II in the Minecraft community. We’re proud to partner with Mojang to create gaming gear that brings players together as they trade their pickaxes for swords and set out on new adventures in the Overworld and beyond. Playing with friends, communicating when the action gets chaotic, and coming out on top is exactly what we build our peripherals for. We can’t wait for players to gear up and experience this next chapter of Minecraft together.”
Design history and studio development
Minecraft Dungeons originally debuted in 2020 as a standalone project directed by Måns Olson alongside creative input from Laura de Llorens, relying on a hub-and-spoke camp structure and isometric hack-and-slash mechanics inspired by traditional action roleplaying games. Development of the sequel expanded heavily to overhaul progression mechanics, ditching isolated level runs for an open-world territory design.
While software development teams at Mojang Studios and co-developer Double Eleven focused on systems performance across next-generation platforms, accessory manufacturers have moved rapidly to fill demand for anti-drift sensor tech. The shift toward TMR sensors over standard potentiometers reflects a broader industry response to long-standing analogue stick degradation issues that plagued early hardware cycles.
