Star Trek MTG dice set features oversized resin ships and blind boxes

Sirius Dice, a tabletop accessory studio based in Brooklyn, New York, will release an officially licensed collection of Star Trek dice and accessories designed for Magic: The Gathering players this November. The launch coincides with Star Trek’s 60th anniversary and aligns with the upcoming Wizards of the Coast Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek card set.

This premium accessory wave arrives despite a recent setback for the intellectual property crossover. Wizards of the Coast recently cancelled the planned Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek Beginner Box, citing production and design shifts. While that specific onboarding product is no longer moving forward, the broader card set and these officially licensed Sirius Dice accessories are proceeding as scheduled.

Founders Lax Chandra and Tina Trenkler, alongside Justin Ziran, have built this collection around both direct-purchase display items and randomised blind packs. British and European consumers should note that Sirius Dice has paused international ordering on its web store, so local retail distribution will be necessary to acquire these items at launch.

The November release features three distinct product lines:

• Treasure Packs ($7.99): Randomised blind packs containing one of 25 collectable 25mm SPINDOWN life counter d20s. These are sorted into Common, Rare, and Legendary rarities. Each pack also includes either a premium acrylic counter token sheet or a standard-card-size creature token.
• Mini Dice Cups ($19.99): Blind boxes that include one randomised miniature dice cup and two counter dice. The cups feature designs based on factions such as Starfleet, the Klingon Empire, the Borg Collective, and the Ferengi, alongside an elusive chase cup inspired by Q.
• 55mm SPINDOWN Life Counters ($54.99): Oversized d20s designed for display or tracking. These feature detailed, painted miniatures of either the U.S.S. Enterprise or the Klingon Bird-of-Prey suspended in crystal-clear resin with silver numbering.

While direct international shipping from the Sirius Dice web store remains temporarily paused, the publisher’s established global distribution network, bolstered by its ongoing partnership with Asmodee, ensures these releases will reach British and European markets.
