Scottish independent artisan ChaosCurios debuted two additions to its Pride range alongside organising a floor-wide community meta-game at the recently concluded Tabletop Scotland 2026 at the Royal Highland Centre. Founded in 2020, the Scottish studio returned to the Ingliston exhibition hall with its familiar catalogue of dice-holding dragons, handmade accessories, and tabletop trinkets, while directing a significant portion of its sales toward local charitable initiatives.

Speaking to Geek Native on the show floor, creator Roz confirmed that 25% of all profits generated from the ChaosCurios Pride range are donated directly to LGBT Youth Scotland. The convention marked the physical debut of two product lines supporting the youth organisation: a hand-poured candle titled Pride is Still a Protest, finished with multicoloured wax hearts, and a new set of collectable enamel pin badges priced at £8.00. The badges depict unicorns sporting distinct community colours, including trans, pan, and classic Pride palettes, with backing cards highlighting LGBT Youth Scotland’s mission.

Beyond stall sales, ChaosCurios served as a primary organiser for The Great Unicorn Hunt, an interactive meta-game designed to steer attendees toward independent exhibitors across the hall. Participants picked up an illustrated show map crediting Venger’s Decks for map design, with artwork contributions from Illusionary Constructs, Adventurer’s Apprentice, The CardKitty, and Bunnyhog Games, among other makers. Attendees navigated the hall to answer Scottish folklore and pop trivia questions at participating booths, such as which animal was mistaken for a unicorn in antiquity or where replica tapestries hang in Scotland, collecting stamps to earn entry into daily 4:00 pm prize draws.
The collaboration demonstrated how smaller creators at large conventions can band together to drive more equitable foot traffic around the Expo Hall and into indie rows. For attendees who completed the route, the hunt offered both free merchandise and direct introductions to local artists, illustrators, and accessory makers working within the Scottish gaming scene.
