Witney indie studio TryWin Games returned to Tabletop Scotland at the Royal Highland Centre with a dedicated exhibition booth, revealing an active development pipeline of twelve games alongside an upcoming expansion for their debut title, Can’t Go. The expansion, carrying the working title Second Wind, builds directly on the toilet-themed card game that was funded via Kickstarter following the team’s initial visit to the convention two years ago.

The studio’s appearance marks a clean transition from indie attendees to established exhibitors. During Tabletop Scotland 2024, the team walked the halls as regular ticket holders, using a handheld Instagram livestream from the floor to build momentum for the Can’t Go crowdfunding campaign. Returning to Ingliston for the 2026 show, TryWin Games manned a bespoke stand featuring retail stock, branded toilet-roll icons, pin badges, and playable prototypes from their broader studio slate.
Speaking to Geek Native at Tabletop Scotland, the team confirmed that while twelve separate game designs are being conceived and developed throughout 2026, six completed prototype designs were brought to the show floor for public playtesting and player feedback. Not every concept in the twelve-project pipeline will reach commercial manufacturing, but the six designs tested at the Royal Highland Centre represent the studio’s primary candidates for production across 2027 and 2028.
Designed by John Jukes, the flagship game Can’t Go is built around competitive set collection and hand management and is subtitled “The Game of Poop, Points and Pandemonium”. The rules rely on two separate draw piles: the “Can” deck and the “Go” deck. On each turn, players alternate between “pooping turns”, where point cards are pushed into a shared central play-zone, and “finishing turns”, where opponents challenge for control of those accumulated pools. The objective is for players to race to secure 400 points.
The planned expansion, Second Wind, will add new deck options and disruptive action cards designed to complicate finishing turns without bloating the core round length. Production schedules, funding platforms, and exact delivery targets for Second Wind and the six playtested prototypes will be confirmed as the studio evaluates player feedback gathered across the convention weekend.
Readers interested in the game can find retail editions, more info, and merchandise directly via the TryWin Games store.
