I think there’s quite a lot of gaming music that reached iconic status. Many people recognise – even if they can’t name the come – Mario’s soundtrack, Sonic, Final Fantasy, dozens of 8-bit wonders as well as some of the new generation. BioShock, for example, is a game synonymus with its musical choices.
