Publishers across the tabletop industry are converging on Indianapolis for Gen Con 2026, running from July 30 to August 2. Studios including Renegade Game Studios, Catalyst Game Labs, Rose Gauntlet Entertainment, and Mythworks are bringing new roleplaying games, expansions, and exclusive merchandise to the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium.

Alongside the product launches, the event will serve as a gathering point for the community to remember industry figures and address ongoing supply chain challenges. While attendees can expect fresh releases such as the BattleTech Core Rulebook and Shadowrun: Explosive Decompression, some highly anticipated projects are facing delays.
A significant moment at this year’s convention will be the livestreamed hour of remembrance for Jodi Black. Legacy Game Tables will host the event at Booth 2471 on Friday, July 31, from 8 PM to 9 PM Eastern Time. Rem Alternis will moderate the stream, and attendees can submit personal stories via a dedicated form for display at the booth.
Renegade Game Studios is highlighting its upcoming Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe Roleplaying Game, covering properties like Interview with the Vampire and Mayfair Witches. However, the initial announcements lack details on specific rules or the virtual tabletop platforms they support. The studio will also host the Crawler Chaos Creation Panel for the Dungeon Crawler Carl RPG, moderated by Rina, and offer an exclusive 10th Floor Mordecai miniature. Renegade also confirmed that fulfilment for the Ikusa 40th Anniversary campaign and the Axis & Allies strategy accessories will be delayed until October due to shipping timelines.
Catalyst Game Labs will be at Booth 1611 with the new BattleTech Core Rulebook, BattleTech: Starter Box, and BattleTech: Core Box, spearheaded by associate developer Keith Hann. They are also launching Shadowrun: Explosive Decompression, a campaign book taking the setting into space.
Meanwhile, Mythworks arrives at Booth 2945 with ENNIE Award nominations for Pico and Crescent 2E, alongside a megagame event for Slugblaster and the recently launched Sourdown expansion for The Wildsea.
Rose Gauntlet Entertainment (Booth 575) is promoting their live Kickstarter for How to Raise Your Kaiju and teasing an unrevealed major announcement. Acheron Games will share Booth 1929-2029 with Studio 2 Publishing to showcase Helluva Town. Finally, Pine Box Entertainment celebrates its 10th anniversary in Events Hall B, Booth 2934, with demos of Deadlands: Legends of the Weird West.
