London-based distributor Arrow Films has announced the debut October 2026 release schedule for its new subsidiary label, Toy Robot Video. Built to provide accessible collector editions for film enthusiasts across the UK, the brand will launch three distinct titles across 4K UHD and Blu-ray formats.
The October lineup opens with the 4K UHD debut of the 1986 heavy-metal horror cult classic Trick or Treat on 5 October 2026. This will be followed on 19 October 2026 by high-definition Blu-ray editions of the 1983 Tom Selleck aviation adventure High Road to China and the 1976 Japanese action thriller Manhunt.
Created by the team behind Arrow Video, Toy Robot Video expands the distributor’s portfolio beyond niche genre cinema into mainstream classics, period adventure, and international pop culture hits. Every physical release includes colourfully branded OBI strips, art cards, restored film transfers, and supplementary bonus features.

Heavy Metal Horror: Trick or Treat (4K UHD & Blu-ray)
Releasing on 5 October 2026, Trick or Treat makes its 4K UHD debut in a dual-format two-disc set. Directed by Charles Martin Smith, the 1986 supernatural horror stars Marc Price as high school outcast Eddie Weinbauer, who accidentally resurrects his deceased heavy metal idol Sammi Curr, played by Tony Fields, through a mysterious unreleased vinyl record.
The film features cameo appearances by rock legends Gene Simmons and Ozzy Osbourne, alongside an original soundtrack recorded by Fastway. The two-disc edition includes a fresh 4K restoration from primary film elements alongside hours of archival special features.

1920s Aviation Adventure: High Road to China (Blu-ray)
Arriving on 19 October 2026, High Road to China comes to Blu-ray restored from a new 2K film scan. Directed by Brian G. Hutton, the 1983 action-comedy stars Tom Selleck as a former World War I pilot hired by high-society heiress Bess Armstrong to search for her missing inventor father across 1920s Asia.
The supporting cast features Brian Blessed and Wilford Brimley, accompanied by an orchestral score from James Bond film composer John Barry.

Japanese Crime Classic: Manhunt (Blu-ray)
Also releasing on 19 October 2026, the 1976 Japanese crime thriller Manhunt makes its UK Blu-ray debut. Directed by Junya Sato, the film stars Ken Takakura as a wrongfully accused prosecutor who escapes custody to uncover the conspiracy framing him.
A major box-office success upon its original release in East Asia, the film famously served as the direct inspiration for John Woo‘s 2017 action remake.
