The critically acclaimed narrative strategy game Dispatch has joined the Amazon Luna cloud streaming library this month, providing Amazon Prime members with instant access to one of the most celebrated superhero titles of recent years. Developed by the Los Angeles-based independent developer AdHoc Studio, the game marks a significant milestone for cloud gaming accessibility by reaching a broader audience of subscribers, who can stream the complete eight-episode season on Windows, smart TVs, and mobile devices starting this July.
The narrative adventure follows Robert Robertson III, voiced by Aaron Paul, a former armoured hero known as Mecha Man who loses his mechanical suit in a disastrous battle. Forced to take a desk job at the Superhero Dispatch Network in Los Angeles, Robertson must manage a dysfunctional roster of reformed supervillains turned heroes, balancing real-time emergency deployment strategy on a city map with office-politics comedy.
The game launched to widespread critical acclaim in October 2025 on PlayStation 5 and PC, quickly selling millions of copies and earning multiple BAFTA Games Awards nominations for its audio, animation, and performance. AdHoc Studio later expanded the reach of the title by launching ports for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 in January 2026.

AdHoc Studio was founded by veteran writers and directors from Telltale Games, including Creative Director and CTO Dennis Lenart, who previously worked on celebrated narrative hits like The Wolf Among Us and Tales from the Borderlands. The studio developed the project using Unreal Engine, blending traditional dialogue-tree narrative choices with a strategic management sim layer that dictates how effectively field heroes respond to crisis calls.
The timing of the cloud launch aligns with a major summer push for the franchise, as the studio confirmed that the cast and creative team will host an official panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 later this month. Meanwhile, a native console version for Xbox Series X/S remains in development and is expected to launch later this year.
