Prepare your left paw, your wrong paw, and your stomach. The legendary, chaotic, and wonderfully orange cult-classic tabletop fantasy roleplaying game is back with a massive digital bargain. 9th Level Games has brought their frantic beer-and-pretzels classic to the modern era, and you can now secure the definitive collection to feed your insatiable monarch without breaking the bank.
In Kobolds Ate My Baby!, players step into the tiny, furry paws of utterly incompetent kobolds. Tasked by the gluttonous King Torg (All hail King Torg!) to raid nearby human villages for snacks, your primary goal is simply to survive the trip. Between aggressive chickens, falling cows, and sudden strikes of orthodox lightning, death is all but guaranteed – and absolutely hilarious.

This updated iteration of Kobolds Ate My Baby! replaces older legacy engines with 9th Level Games’ proprietary Polymorph toolkit. Originally seen in acclaimed titles like Mazes, this lightweight system is designed for rapid, chaotic improv without the burden of complex arithmetic. In Polymorph, your entire role at the table is dictated by a single polyhedral die; whether you roll a d4, d6, d8, or d10, that specific geometry determines your strengths, flaws, and interactions with the world.
Character generation is brilliantly minimalist, requiring players to answer just three basic questions about their gear and jobs before shoving them directly into harm’s way. The game plays like a frantic, beautifully unhinged cartoon where being cannon fodder is half the fun. John Kovalic (Munchkin, Dork Tower) provides his signature artistic style across the rulebooks, ensuring every horrible death record sheet is packed with visual humour.
The supplementary adventures push the pop-culture parody to its limits. Players can navigate a Third Wave ska-infused Wonderland, steal weaponised egg recipes from a galactic chicken empire, or experience a grimdark culinary armageddon in the De Smörkås Borg crossover module.
