Paizo, the Washington-based tabletop publisher, has reintroduced digital bundle options for its official Foundry Virtual Tabletop modules. This comes after some challenges with their e-commerce platform last November.

The webstore team has worked with BigCommerce to restore the ability to purchase a digital module alongside its PDF companion at a discount. This update arrives just in time for the upcoming summer conventions, such as the UK Games Expo.
The new bundle system launches with a 20% discount on digital products, perfectly timed for the Foundry Virtual Tabletop’s 6th Anniversary Celebration. Starting now, if you buy one of the newer, all-in-one Adventure Path modules, you can add the PDF for $20, making the total price $99.99. For single volumes of older Adventure Paths, there’s a $10 PDF add-on option.
Paizo defends the $99.99 price tag for a complete Adventure Path, claiming it’s $5 less than buying three volumes separately under their old model. To add value, they’ve teamed up with Metamorphic Digital Studios to enhance these modules with unique assets such as original music and custom digital dice, which were previously hard to implement. Fans of the classic three-volume format can now bundle older modules for $79.99, with all three PDFs available for an extra $20.

However, even with these improvements, some frustrations remain with third-party e-commerce platforms. A much-asked-for discount for players who already own the PDF version of an adventure is not available yet. Paizo acknowledges that their current setup can’t offer discounts based on prior purchases. They also understand the demand for a Foundry module subscription, but that idea is still very much in the hypothetical stage.
