Beadle & Grimm’s, the company renowned for its luxurious and often wallet-thumping boxed editions of Dungeons & Dragons campaigns, has announced a new, highly practical accessory for players. The company has launched D&D Battle Boards, a set of class-specific dry-erase boards designed to manage a character’s ever-changing statistics during a game session.

The core concept is to save the main character sheet from the wear and tear of constant erasing. While a character sheet holds persistent data like skills and saving throws, the 8.5″ x 11″ Battle Board is built to handle the dynamic elements of an encounter. Players can track hit points, spent Hit Dice, and death saves, then wipe them clean as circumstances change.
The board isn’t just for health management. It includes dedicated spaces for tracking:
- Temporary modifiers in a “Magic Buff” area
- Whether a Reaction or Heroic Inspiration has been used
- The initiative roll for the current combat
- Item charges
- A handy checklist of all standard D&D conditions and their effects, which can be marked and erased as they are inflicted and cured.
Beadle & Grimm’s has tailored the boards to be class-specific. This allows for dedicated trackers for resources like a Cleric’s Channel Divinity or a Wizard’s spell slots, which can be marked off as they are expended. Each board also comes with a class-labelled dry-erase pen and a pen holder.
The company has released a short video demonstrating the Battle Board’s features in action.
The boards are available for direct purchase from the Beadle & Grimm’s webstore.
