The Forsaken World is a free to play MMO from Perfect World. Normally trailers from the free to play MMOs are… well, they’re a bit meh. They tend to show in-game scenes which aren’t all that impressive because the games are free to play and sometimes need to keep things simple in order to run in browsers.
This Forsaken World trailer gets around all those problems by crafting a CG teaser that’s designed to get gamers interested in the world and routing for the heroes (or villains). That’s a good tactic. I’m far more interested in Forsaken World today, because of this trailer, than I’ve been in months.
