I’ve copies of Darkspore on order but to be honest I put that pre-order based on the fact that the game is somewhat related to Spore. I’m an RPGer at heart so am a little cautious about the mosh-melee vibes I’m getting from Darkspore but do remember how much fun Dungeon Siege I was so hopefully this game combines both the hero building and the melee-moshing successfully.
Maxis are releasing “hero spotlight” videos. This is for Skar – aka Skar the Shadow of Death- and is rather more than just a spotlight. We’re actually shown Skar’s abilities and a detailed walkthrough of how to absolutely kick butt with them. It’s very much that Maxis are helping us min/max Skar’s abilities themselves.
