Skyrim is the fifth in the series of Elder Scrolls RPGs from Bethesda Softworks. It’ll be out for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 and you should expect an adult, sandbox, immersive RPG. That’s if the game is anything like the first four.
Skyrim is set some 200 years after the end of Oblivion and you, the player, are the last of the surviving Dragonborn (the Dovahkiin) so it’s up to you when the god Alduin takes the form of a dragon and sets about trying to destroy the world.
To tease us – and to offer us something for Valentine’s Day – Bethesda Softworks put together this Flickr slideshow of 10 bits of art.
I think the art quality in these non-linear games – those RPGs where you can wander around pretty much at will – just keeps on getting better and better. This is a great thing.
