A team from the University of Southern California has developed a free to download system that will let you play World of Warcraft or other off-the-shelf titles with the Kinect.
The Flexible Action and Articulated Skeleton Toolkit (aka FAAST) was put together by the USC’s Institude for Creative Technologies, is currently available for Windows and being demo’d via World of Warcraft.
As the video explains this is a first step but it shows just how far gesture based gaming can go and just how much interest there is in the genre as a way to exercise and engage children.
