Free League Publishing has released its Ruins of Symbaroum Setting Handbook on the D&D Beyond platform.

This marks a collaboration between the Swedish publisher and Wizards of the Coast, bringing third-party content based on Free League’s established Symbaroum RPG world to the official Dungeons & Dragons digital toolset. Wizards of the Coast acquired D&D Beyond in 2022.
Introducing the Symbaroum Setting for 5e
The Ruins of Symbaroum Setting Handbook provides material for using the Symbaroum world, known for its dark fantasy tone, with the Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition rules. The setting focuses on the Ambrian kingdom bordering the vast, dangerous forest of Davokar, which covers the ruins of the ancient empire of Symbaroum. Themes include exploration, cultural clashes, political intrigue, and the risk of corruption from dark forces within the forest.
This handbook is explicitly a setting guide; it focuses entirely on lore, locations, characters, and narrative tools. It does not contain game rules or mechanics, which are intended to be drawn from the D&D 5e system.
