AMC has unveiled a brand new and exclusive popcorn bucket that’s a replica of The Monkey – y’know… the evil murderous demon monkey toy with the drums based on the Stephen King short story.
D’aww, lookit ‘im! I can imagine some people buying this and then later regretting it when they get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and see those eyes staring at them in the dark.
Having seen the trailers and read all the buzz, I’m of the opinion it’s going to be a completely bonkers movie. Here’s the official synopsis:
When twin brothers Hal and Bill discover their father’s old monkey toy in the attic, a series of gruesome deaths starts occurring all around them. The brothers decide to throw the monkey away and move on with their lives, growing apart over the years. But when the mysterious deaths begin again, the brothers must reunite to find a way to destroy the monkey for good before it takes the lives of everyone close to them.
