HANGRY is a computer game, a snack-and-slash RPG, from Game Pill. If Delicious in Dungeon made the fantasy version of hunting for food cook, then HANGRY seems intent on doing a slightly weirder sci-fi version.
Hangry is a mercenary with an insatiable hunger (something I related to – especially after a few pints) who earns his money working for chief chef Goutra of an alien underworld diner.
Game Pill has released a 20-page comic book by Bret Nelson, Michael Sorrenti and Matt Kresge to introduce potential fans to the chaotic world.

You can add HANGRY to your STEAM Wishlist already. The platform notes Xbox Controller support but only offers us a “Coming Soon”, as usual, for the release date.
Steam Next is March 13 to March 20 this year so perhaps you can draw your own conclusions from the release date. It’s speculation on our part, as we’ve not been told.
Steam’s bio says,
Looking for a tasty snack n’ slash RPG? Our hungry hero, Hangry, works for Goutra – the owner and chef of a dingy underworld diner in a city where food is king. Goutra’s greed is as insatiable as Hangry’s appetite, and Hangry must travel across the galaxy hunting down delicious monsters and collecting the finest products for the sake of the diner – and his stomach.
Just don’t eat the merchandise…

Game Pill is an experienced Canadian game studio with over 100 game credits. A press release last year from the company quoted Mike Sorrenti;
“We’re honestly salivating at the thought of people finally getting the chance to sink their teeth into this game, puns intended. Our team has worked on dozens of licensed games over the years that we’re immensely proud of, but we can’t wait to show off more of our original IP and deliver something deep and rewarding for RPG fans, but also light-hearted and fun enough for anyone that appreciates a tasty pun.”
