Australian-based Mitchell Tierney has hit their funding goal on Kickstarter for Scale Mail.
The solo RPG is about delivering mail in a peaceful fantasy world. Here, your postie PC does not have to cycle up hills and down through valleys; they soar over them on the back of a dragon. You can read more on the pitch page.

The AI art used in the Scale Mail pitch might put you off the game but Michell says that it will be replaced if the project funds. Scale Mail has been funded but going live with AI in marketing will put some people off.
Scale Mail is a solo game but can be played by two. The game will come with different covers and use a ‘comic book’ size. In the game, players will design their own postie PCs, pick a dragon, design their route and play it a bit like a choose-your-won fantasy adventure.
There are stretch goals that could unlock. At $2,000 in pledges, Scale Mail gets extra dragons, at $5,00,0 there will be a dragon stamp collection made and at $7,500 extra missions.

Backers get a PDF copy of the game with Cover A if they can offer AU$ 15 in support. That’s about £8.
At AU$25 / £13, the softcover with Cover A is unlocked.
After this tier, the other covers begin to unlock for backers and the Lumara Post Office Edition with extra content is there at AU$35, the Dragon Express Edition at AU$40 and the Cloudrunner Edition at AU$60.
There’s a big jump to AU$350 for all the mission packs, a dice, and other unique perks.
Mitchell is running the campaign until February 25th with most of the deliveries slated for April 2025.
