The latest trailer for Haunted Mansion has just dropped, and it looks like Owen Wilson and his team of paranormal investigators have their work cut out for them!
This latest trailer from Disney focuses on the character of Kent – played by Wilson – as he assembles his own squad of paranormal investigators whose job it is to come to the aid of a mother and son who’ve moved into a mega haunted house!
Inspired by Disney’s famous theme park attraction, the clip apparently includes some Easter eggs that Disney fans will recognise.
The gist of the movie “is about a woman and her son who enlist a motley crew of so-called spiritual experts to help rid their home of supernatural squatters.”
But, there’s a catch. If they don’t solve the mystery of the mansion, they’ll be stuck in it for eternity! There’s a bit of a buzz surrounding this one, and I’m sure it’s going to be good.

Directed by Justin Simien, there’s a fabulous ensemble cast joining Owen Wilson for this one, including the likes of LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish,Rosario Dawson, and Danny DeVito. We’ve also got Jamie Lee Curtis as Madame Leota, alongside Winona Ryder, Dan Levy, and Hasan Minhaj!
Oh yeah, and Jared Leto‘s also in this one – a tad more controversial, and really not my favourite. He plays the role of the infamous Hatbox Ghost.
You’ll be able to watch Haunted Mansion in cinemas from July 28th – although it seems like more of a Halloween offering if you ask me!
