In October 2020, Chaosium marked the second anniversary of the death of the legendary Greg Stafford by announcing a 6th edition of the Arthurian RPG Pendragon.
Pendragon is an RPG that Stafford considered his masterpiece, but the 6th edition was left unfinished.
Now you can download the Pendragon 6e Starter Set.
The 168-page download contains everything you need to enter the brutal medieval world of knights and injustice. Pendragon balances the line between cruel reality and the heroic vision of Arthurian legends.
The download is a version of the starter set, which will, in physical form, have three soft-cover books; Adventures of the Sword in the Stone, a solo-mode tutorial, the World of Pendragon with the setting and core rules, and the Sword Campaign to take player knights through. There are appendix look-up sheets for all three.
The Starter Set has 18 cards to quickly generate combat encounters and check mechanics and eight pre-created player-knights.
There’s a Roll20 version ready to go, as well.
