The latest Dr Stone: New World trailer is full of new characters, which suggests there are still plenty of people to find on Earth years after the stone-apocalypse.
We also know the series kicks off on April 6th but will be split. Crunchyroll has given us an English subtitled trailer here and will dub into French, German, Latin American Spanish, Brazillian Portuguese, and Castilian Spanish (but I don’t actually see Spanish on the list) later.
Crunchyroll also gives us a synopsis of the New World arc of the story.
With the Stone Wars over, the former members of Tsukasa’s Empire of Might join forces with the Kingdom of Science to build a ship capable of sailing across open ocean to seek answers on the mystery of the global petrification. However, before they can begin their voyage Senku and his friends need to find some key resources and push some new scientific advancements to build the type of vessel they need.
The manga has finished, and the last and 26th part shipped in July 2022.
It’s not new, but I also found this promo picture for the geeky so-called-Doctor who takes on the physically powerful foes… not sure the visuals really tell a clear story on that front! But, hey, at least he’s holding SCIENCE!
