Studio Pine Jam has aired the first trailer for Do It Yourself!! This anime is about six high school girls who cope with the crap life throws at them as they tackle DIY projects.
Sounds wholesome! I note that Kazuhiro Yoneda is directing and previously directed the less-than-wholesome Gleiphnir!
Do It Yourself!! falls into the category of branded content, I think, like the LEGO movies. How come? Takagi the Japanese construction company is the “official partner”.
Takagi is based in the city of Sanjo, as is the anime.
As the branded content kinda suggests, Do It Yourself!! is an original anime and not based on any previous light novel or manga. The art, though, looks charismatically fun.
