Sega’s Vanquish came out in 2010, not just for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One but also for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Platinum Games started the shooter’s development in 2007, and, looking back today, it was ahead of its time with innovations around pace, boosting and hand-to-hand combat scenes.
You can still buy the game, and the 10th Anniversary bundle for Bayonetta and Vanquish seems popular.
Manu, aka cosplayer Raytrus, shared this image of themselves as Sam Gideon, the game’s hero, on Reddit. It’s an impressive build, with a realistic and detailed Augmented Reaction Suit, and hopefully without any of the BLADE weapon systems found in the real suit.
