Dwarven Forge has plenty of Kickstarter experience, $20 million worth of it. Now the module maker is moving into new territory with a new line of tabletop accessories.
Reliquaries – Epic Thrones for Legendary Dice will launch on Kickstarter this autumn. They are stands for gaming dice. The hand-sculpted, hand-painted displays will come in a variety of fantasy themes.
Kickstarter will be the only place to get Dwarven Forge’s dice throne displays.
The largest Reliquaries light up; they contain LEDs which, we’re told, are especially dramatic on translucent dice. Every model features interchangeable dice inserts, so you can use the throne to display lots of different dice shapes and sizes.
Nate Taylor, Dwarven Forge’s Chief Creative Officer, said;
Like many gamers, I have a lot of dice. I’ve got a bunch of ways to store them, but no good way to display them. That’s why I’m psyched to release Reliquaries. We’re going to give gamers everywhere a place of honor for their dice – a way to exhibit and appreciate their favorite set. There are some beautiful dice out there, let’s get them on display for the world to see!
