These are nice. If you’ve never played Among Us, then you might be wondering what the fuss is. It’s a game where you can lark around on a spaceship on mundane repair missions in a simple multiplayer game… except one of you is an alien and is out to kill you.
And you’ll probably die; the odds are stacked against you, but once dead, you can still play on, and then you and friends must race to finish your chores until all done or murdered. It’s a game about surprises as you don’t know, not at first, who the alien is.
Maqio has random packs of new Among Us models. The models are simple, the same as the game’s graphics, but charming (I think). The randomness of the pack is attractive rather than a disincentive for me, and I imagine other fans, as it’s part of the game’s charm.
The packs are £2.99.
Why do these appeal? It’s not just the models’ charm, but I imagine you can play a game of hide and discovery with the models in a strange Easter Egg versus Murder Mystery style LARP game.
