Chivalry and Sorcery is one of the oldest fantasy RPGs still being published, and the 5th edition (that’s the C&S 5th edition) is from Stephen A. Turner and Brittannia via a 2019 Kickstarter.
The RPG favours realism, historically, and while C&S 5e has been streamlined, it is still true to that original desire. The game also leans into medieval life, with priests, feudal system rules, courts and tournaments rather than dungeon crawling. C&S 5e reflects a modern understanding of medieval life in Europe, with diversity and more than just Christianity on offer.
