The characters are the front lines for an evil organisation. In Combatants Will Be Dispatched! No 6 and his android partner, who looks like a blonde girl, are sent to a distant alien planet by the Kisaragi Secret Society.
Reconnaissance and invasion planning are their goal, and this is made more complex when the planet they’re sent to across the reaches of space turns out to essentially be a fantasy world.
Yen Press has been publishing the English translations of the manga on Comixology. We’re still waiting to see if any streaming platform picks up the anime, though.
