An origami samurai warrior from one sheet of paper (and 50 hours!)

Origami, it turns out, has magic powers. In a recent survey from DIYS.com, origami kept kids below 60 decibels for over half an hour.

If 30 minutes of office-level or less noise does not sound like a very long break from home-schooling, then it’s worth noting that it was the third-best performer of all the craft projects tested by over 1,500 parents.

Paper weaving came top, so that’s another reason to keep the cupboards stocked.
