Everything you thought you knew about space is wrong?

This isn’t an attack on sci-fi movies – this is just a geeky reminder of how things work.

You knew most of this stuff, if not all of it, despite what the pitch of the video is. It’s still fun to recap and remind ourselves.

Here’s a question – is it fair to use a clip from Serenity when talking about the distance between galaxies? Isn’t most of the movie and the Firefly series actually set in a single galaxy?
