Sexy Mrs Vader as you’ve never seen her before

January 14, 2011 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

It’s true that you should be keeping an eye on Geeks are Sexy. It’s not true that they concentrate on finding sexy geek images – it just so happens that sometimes that’s exactly what they do. For example, there’s this Mrs Vader image they grokked off IGN (which now seems to have been removed from […]

Star Wars snow trench run of doom

January 10, 2011 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

The Great White Snark has dug up a homemade Star Wars trench run. It is another example of how creative some people can be while coping with Snowmageddon. I think it is also an example of how far on homebrew special effects software has come. I’ll predict we’ll be seeing very much more in the […]

Star Wars: Bounty Hunter

January 10, 2011 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Star Wars: Bounty Hunter is a 20 minute long film written and directed by Aaron Burke – who also stars as Darth Vader and the Jedi Knight (Guillermo Valdovinos expertly plays everyone else – except for three seconds where camera man and FX dude Russell Bakken helps out) that features Boba Fett attempting to secure […]

The best lightsaber recreation yet?

January 8, 2011 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

I’m a little concerned that Slothfurnace’s lightsaber is unofficial and therefore open to the attack lawyers of doom that Lucasfilm sometimes release from the pits. I’m concerned because I believe this is one of the best lightsaber recreations we’ve seen on the internet to date. What do you think? Pretty impressive, huh?

Star Wars Peep-Toe Pumps

January 4, 2011 by Andrew Girdwood 1 Comment

I don’t know much about shoes. I do know that these Alexander McQueen Alien shoes are a popular page to visit on this blog and so I’m going to guess there might be some interest in these Star Wars peep-toe pumps. What do you think? Would you wear a pair?

Steampunk R2-D2

December 30, 2010 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Our brave hero, the droid known as R2-D2, appears before us in commanding steampunk style. Could he get any cuter? This little guy needs to be kept safe and sound in my flat. Certainly. Via Botropolis.

An Assortment of Underachieving At-Ats

December 30, 2010 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

This fine poster highlights some of the alternative uses for At-Ats that might achieve rather less than a successful assult on Hoth. A special shoutout goes to the Subaru Brat-At since that Bantha looks so cute. Via Geeks Are Sexy and Tobias Lunchbreath.

Robot Chicken can’t leave Star Wars alone

December 21, 2010 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

That’s right. There’s more Robot Chicken and it would have been a surprise if they’ve been able avoid all Star Wars jokes. Come to think about it; this blog mentions Stormtroopers all of the time. Perhaps it’s possible to have too much Stormtrooper action? Hmm. Let’s leave it to Robot Chicken to explore this issue. […]

Threepio swimsuit is the C3PO swimsuit

December 7, 2010 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

BlackMilk has done it again. The shop must be on so many geek’s holiday shopping list it should be shaping up for its best year ever. A while back the retailer launched its Artoo swimsuit. It’s not a R2D2 swimsuit, of course, that would by governed by somme harsh merchandising rules from Lucas. The Artoo […]

Star Wars: Ahsoka Tano’s Boba Fett undies

November 12, 2010 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

It’s not every day that I post pictures of pants on Geek Native. One day you’ll be able to buy these Boba Fett undies for yourself too – but not today, they’re not yet for sale. Ashkey Eckstein is the voice of Ahsoka Tano. You know; from the Clone Wars animation. She’s setting up Her […]
