Is it hot enough for Pokemon ice cream?

June 19, 2013 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

If I look out the window I can see, against all the odds, the sun is still shining. It’s a little warm, perhaps warm enough for ice cream – but is it hot enough for Pokemon ice cream? Via /r/Pokemon.

Pokemon Easter eggs

March 30, 2013 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

These Easter eggs are the creation of Yaltro. We got one batch in 2011 and another in 2012. No sign of a 2013… but it’s not too late, especially as the photos tend to appear in April, so watch out.

Hundreds of tiny Pokemon

February 26, 2013 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

On Imgur, Reddit’s favourite picture sharing site, you can find an album filled with all 151 of the original Pokemon. They’ve been made by hand. What’s even more impressive that each one is small enough to sit on a penny. That’s why Ninjazzy, who created them, calls them pennymon. They’re tiny and still cute.

Bake your Pokelove

February 15, 2013 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

These lovely looking Pokéballs are cake (no lie). The are the creation of Honey Sunshine and shared at Instructables. This means you can bake your own Pokelove. There is a catch. Honeysunshine argues you cannot use cake mix for this. Cake mix is too light and too fluffy. It’ll fall apart while you’re creating the […]

What do you do with the drunken Pikachu, earl-eye in the morning? Way hay and up she rises… .. as cake. That’s right; a cake based drunken Pikachu. Cute: Mother of Charmanders

December 3, 2012 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Game of Thrones fans will know Daenerys Targaryen, sometimes called the Mother of Dragons, The Unburnt, and many other things (not all of which are flattering). Pokemon fans will certainly recall the fiery but rather cute Charmander. Could the two ever come together? Yes. How could we forget the Mother of Charmanders? A rather clever […]

Pokemon Jack o’Lanterns

October 28, 2012 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Halloween is a time for carving interesting things into pumpkins. I bet you’ve seen a dozen pumpkins puking up their own seeds by now… but when it comes to monsters, have you seen ’em all? These lanterns are (I think) via expert carver and deviant artist Joh Wee. A scary Halloween talent.
