Gary Dupuis is a Canadian artist who has worked with a range of RPG publishers. His credits include Steve Jackson Games, Goodman Games, Headless Hydra Games and Purple Duck Games. The haunting art of Anton Semenov
Anton Semenov – also known a Gloom82 – produces some gloomy, haunting but also breathtaking art. His style is what I’ve come to expect from the Russian masters. It’s willful and commanding. You can follow him on LiveJournal.
Behold the neon skeleton
Eric Franklin’s Neon Skeleton is a work of art and science. Based in Portland, Franklin uses glass tubes filled with ionised krypton in order to create the grow. The neon skeleton took more than 1,000 hours, over two years, to complete. What do you think? Cool or creepy?
Origami monsters
Two facts for you. First fact: origami posts are popular on Geek Native. Second fact: monster posts are also popular on this blog. Is this spider monster too scary for any LARP?
This blogger asked the question Are Air Swimmers any good LARPs?. The answer seems to be no. They’re too fragile. Oh, I suppose a clever team of GMs could have a shark swim through the air as a very clever effect. This video is attempt 2. TD Artwork has just finished creating a very large […]
Are Air Swimmers any good for LARPs?
I’m pretty sure you could use these inside as part of an encounter when a touch by an air swimmer equals trouble. You might even be able to get away with dressing up the air swimmer and still having it light enough to fly.
The holy unholy terror of Pyramid Head in stained glass
Stained glass always reminds me of churches and cathedrals. What about you? For me, stained glass therefore has implications of holy places and perhaps even protection. Fantasy gamers know all too well that if you’re on a retreat from an unholy terror then get onto sanctified soil. What’s why a stained glass display of Silent […]
