Okay, okay… this isn’t the real God of War movie (although; leave a comment if you think there should be one) but a spoof. The Gamervision team have created ths spoof in the style of Wes Anderson / Rushmore so that it looks like a quirky little indie film about the nature of life, love […]
This will save you from zombies
You can’t fault the logic. This gun will save from you zombies. Pot will not. This wise poster comes from very demotivational.com who host a collection of such insight. Perhaps this is the basis on which all laws should be created. Rather than human rights we simply judge everything by its ability to help you […]
Stormtroopers invade NYC Subway car and carry off poor princess
This is awful! This poor woman – who has nothing to do with planning any galactic rebellions – was just trying to take a simple subway trip in New York. What happens next? A bunch of stormtroopers get on board, call in their boss who suggests some transmissions had been sent … and, oh, it’s […]
The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy: Daleks
Sometimes you can take one add one and reach a grand total of three. For example; let’s just say you can mash The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy with Doctor Who. In fact, let’s mash The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy with Daleks. Yes. That would be awesome – and it is. This is a […]
Have you ever wondered… where cursors come from?
Cursors come from the cursor woods of the great icon valley. We have Jay B Sauceda to thank for this discovery. Or, er, Nathan W Pyle. Perhaps Nathan’s the artist? Anyway! Enjoy!
The Adventures of Lil Cthulhu (sanity not protected).
I think my favourite line in this 2009 animation about Lil Cthulhu is this; “Uh-oh! Lil Cthulhu is hungry after his long nap. What does he do? He eats his followers! They love Cthulhu and want to be eaten. Their souls make his tummy happy.” Worst joke? That the Crawling Chaos is so-called because the […]
No one suspected he was packing an Uzi
Okay, so it’s after 1am and I have to get up at 5am. Nevertheless, I feel the urge to post something – to share something. What about “To hold our large heads high”, what about the cow guru, what about “the president said ‘enough is enough – with these uppity cattle, it’s time to get […]
How to construct your own gummy bear golems
Imagine the scene. You have a rather cool looking scalpel. You want to use your scalpel for something. Something safe! You also have a pack of gummy bears. What should you do? That’s right! You should engage, without delay, in a serious of gummy bear experiments in an attempt to create your own army of […]
Lego movies: Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Yes, that’s right. This week I’m busy in a series of events in London – and so welcome to the second of my pre-prepared Lego series. Today, on schedule, we’ve the lego movie clip for Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Yup; it’s the Camelot scene. Yup; it’s so worth watching again!
Magic: The Gathering – Eyjafjallajökull prevents all creatures from flying
Ha! Geek humour meets my working life style (one which involves a lot of flights – except this week in which ash from Eyjafjallajökull has stopped that). That’s right. This is an Eyjafjallajökull Magic: The Gathering Card. Can you spot the error? Surely a land card wouldn’t have any mana cost? Let me know if […]
