Android versus Apple wallpapers

September 26, 2010 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

These three fantastic wallpapers surfaced themselves at Bot.nu. This means that they could have come from anywhere. I like them though. I’ve had an iPhone, a Windows mobile smart phone and I’m currently on Android (an HTC Desire). Android’s my favourite so far – but I do also keep an iPod Touch.

Dancing Mind Control ad for the Samsung Galaxy S

September 9, 2010 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Samsung seems to be throwing everything at promoting their Android phone, the Galaxy S. I don’t blame them; it’s not just that the iPhone is still a roaring success, but that firms like HTC are taking full advantage of the market turmoil. This video (called ‘Cute Girl Has A Catchy Dance’) is clearly intended to go […]

Sexy anime exercises – a bit too much?

August 10, 2010 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

I don’t mind admitting that I like my anime. I don’t mind admitting that I like my tech. I like my Google Android. I also don’t mind admitting that I should do some more exercise and loose a bit of weight. I think, though, you can take this too far by merging all three of […]

Cute Android phone charm… er, androidy!

June 23, 2010 by Andrew Girdwood 1 Comment

I’m not often won over by phone charms but this cheeky chap has a certain character. He’s far from expensive either coming in at less than $3.00 and with free shipping. I’ve not checked but I suspect this doesn’t include international. Today, of course, is a big Android day with Verizon and Motorola announcing the Droid […]

Super cute Squishable Android droid (going cheap!)

June 15, 2010 by Andrew Girdwood 1 Comment

Squishable is a true squee site. Yes, I’m afraid so! They produce these lovely (often rather plump!) plushy toys. Some of these cuties aren’t small either; I’ve seen them sell turtles you could safely plop yourself on in order to get comfortable for a night of gaming. I’m particularly impressed with this Squishable Android. Now; […]

The Tom Scott interview and a Lady Gaga race with LG inTouch Max Android phones

March 30, 2010 by Andrew Girdwood 1 Comment

What a long blog title! This post has come about because I was pointed in the direction of a video staring geek comedian Tom Scott, some LG inTouch Max Android phones and a Top Gear style race in order to win some Lady Gaga tickets (with the tickets going to the winner, btw). The video […]

Graphic.ly’s CEO, Micah Baldwin, talks about the awesome application

January 7, 2010 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

What a whirlwind! At the start of the week, Geek Native had news of Graphic.ly’s $1m funding and supersizing waiting list of comic fans. Just yesterday Mashable then had news that Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer, yes – that Steve Ballmer, had raved about how awesome Graphic.ly was on stage at CES 2010. Yes – that CES […]
