LEGO Universe: Lego MMO gameplay demo

The folks at Mashable have managed to have a guided tour of the forthcoming LEGO MMO.

Have to say; it looks pretty good.

The story is simple. In a quest to tap imagination – something goes wrong. They mess up. The maelstrom is created instead and that destroyes imagination.

In the game you run around the shared world, tracking down maelstrom pieces to do something imaginative with them – such as build and rebuild forts.

I think the game is especially clever as the players will actually be building the landscape. I imagine it’s not unlike a Little Big Planet MMO in that sense.
