After interviewing Justin Lee Anderson about his highly acclaimed novel, The Lost War, I thought it would make an excellent competition prize for Geek Native.
The Lost War is a fantasy set in a country based on the history of Edinburgh (the capital of Scotland). Characters, places and classes in the book are drawn from Scots Gaelic and story is based on a multi-year roleplaying game that Justin and friends enjoyed.
Right now, on Amazon, The Lost War has a 4.5/5 rating and the paperback will set you back about £13. Geek Native has two signed copies to give away. There are no licensing restrictions on where I sent the books. So you provided you’re not living in a country with export sanctions from the UK you’re good to enter. We’ll try to get this over and done with before Halloween, so Brexit doesn’t throw any hiccups at us either!
There are two books to win. To win one, you must log in into the widget below (it does the logistics for me) and complete the mission given (a poll). That’ll give you victory points! Each point you have is a chance of being picked at random as a The Lost War winner.

Competitions closes 28th of October.
Why do you ask poll questions in giveaways
Oh, so you noticed! Thanks.
Geek Native doesn’t like competitions that force you to tell the world you’re entering a competition. You’re welcome to do so if you want. However, it makes sense if you don’t want to spam your social media with silly little contest entries.
Instead, asking a private poll means the blog can write up quirky stats. For example, we can reveal that most geeks prefer peace and quiet to bizarre adventure. Alternatively, compared to men, women are far more likely to believe in destiny.
