In some games, murder hobos are a problem, though it is also possible to have consensual murder hobo fun in other games.
But what about from a LARPing perspective? That’s a game where the NPCs are played by volunteers, people taking a break from their character, or between characters, or even event staff.[via N00b Mama]

I’ve been there. In the few big LARPs I’ve done (The Gathering), NPCs were rare outside of combat. It was almost impossible not to be hugely suspicious of any that turned up. They were clearly there for a reason!
