Just yesterday, Free RPG Days was promoting the retailer signup page for Free RPG Day 2019. On Saturday June 15th it’ll be possible to get some free RPGs from local stores.

Previously, Impressions ran Free RPG Day but they was sold to Flat River Group at the start of the year. Ghiozzi kept the rights to Free RPG Day in that sale and now, with this news, has transferred those rights to Gaming Days LLC.
Gaming Days LLC is a new company founded by Paul Alexander Butler, Steve Ellis and Travis Severance. The new company has one goal; make Free RPG Day bigger and better.
Paul Alexander Butler is a former member of British publisher Cubicle 7, where he helped market Adventures in Middle-earth, runs the blog RPG Evolution and has been an RPG jury member for The Academy of Gaming Arts and Design.
Steve Ellis is most likely to be the owner of Rainy Day Games, a store in Portland, and co-designer of Railways of the World Card Game.
Travis Severance runs Millennium Games, a store in Rochester, New York.
As we stand now, though, there’s no sign of a Facebook Page, Twitter or website for Gaming Days LLC. They may never need one, either, not if they take over the Free RPG Day social media profiles and the official website.
Update: Story edited on 10th of March, with assistance from Aldo Ghiozzi, to clarify the relationship between Impressions, Flat River Group and Free RPG Day.
I just want to make sure the details in your story get changed a little…Gaming Days did not buy Impresssions. You say “Impressions has sold the company…”. That is not the case. Impressions was actually bought by Flat River Group 1/1/19 and FRD was kept by “Aldo”…but now Aldo sold FRD to Gaming Days. Thanks much.
Thank you for the clarity. I’ve updated the story accordingly.
