Stop motions are very demanding on your time. Each tiny movement means a change, a photograph and an ever-expanding animation. Imagine how long it would take to put together a stop motion animation of a LEGO Death Star coming together.
Okay, that’s your starting point. Imagine you also need to animate each step so the LEGO block slid and grew gracefully into position. That would take an age longer but the effect would be as awesome as this video from Bart van Dijk.
